A man was shot in the arm Dec. 26 while sleeping in a car in Ellendale.
Delaware State Police responded at 7:08 a.m. to a home in the 18000 block of New Hope Road in Ellendale for a report of a shooting, police said. Troopers learned a 65-year-old man was struck once in the arm while sleeping in a car with two others – a man and woman, both 34.
The injured man was taken to an area hospital with nonlife-threatening injuries. There were no other injuries reported and there is no suspect information available, police said.
