Delaware State Police helicopter finds lost man, dog in Cape Henlopen State Park Dec. 28

A Delaware State Police helicopter helped rescue a lost man and his dog from Cape Henlopen State Park Dec. 28.

Police said the elderly man and his dog were missing for more than an hour when the helicopter spotted them about 7:30 p.m. in a wooded area. Responders on the ground were able to locate the man and dog and guide them out of the woods. Everyone returned home safely, police said in a Facebook post.
