Radio Rehoboth
The City of Rehoboth Beach water department will flush fire hydrants in ocean blocks across the city the week of April 8. This flushing helps ensure water quality and removes mineral deposits that may occur in water distribution pipes.
The planned schedule for flushing is as follows:
Impacted water customers may experience low water pressure or discolored water on the day that their street is flushed. Please plan to briefly limit your use of water and do not run the washing machine or dishwasher. If you experience discolored water, run cold water using an outside spigot or a bathtub spigot until the water runs clear.
