Downtown Rehoboth Beach transformed into a chocolate lover’s paradise April 26, as the Harry K Foundation hosted its third annual Chocolate Crawl.
Participants sampled an array of inventive chocolate creations from local restaurants and retailers. From decadent desserts to creative cocktails, each stop offered a unique treat, with attendees casting votes for their favorites. Tickets were priced at $30, with proceeds supporting the foundation’s mission to combat childhood food insecurity in Delaware.
Harry Keswani, the owner of Atlantic Jewelry/Harry K Custom Jewelry, and the head of the foundation said, “We have so many children in Delaware that are going to sleep hungry, so the idea is to raise money. With that money, we will buy food, which we disperse to our 52 food pantries across the state. But we want to do more; we also want to take the time to educate people on how to buy and cook healthier for those that may not know.”
While the chocolate is good, eradicating childhood hunger is even sweeter.
