Delaware State Police have arrested a 45-year-old Milton man for aggravated menacing and gun-related charges following a disorderly incident.
Troopers responded to Lawns Unlimited on Route 1 near Milton about 7:36 a.m., June 16, for a report of a disorderly person. When troopers arrived, they learned that a man, later identified as Chad Tylecki, yelled at a Lawns Unlimited employee from his neighboring residence. While yelling at the employee, Tylecki allegedly opened his jacket to show a firearm in his waistband. Troopers contacted Tylecki at his residence and took him into custody without incident. During a search of his person, troopers found a loaded handgun in his waistband.
Tylecki, who is a person prohibited from possessing a firearm or ammunition, was taken to Troop 7, where he was charged with felony aggravated menacing, felony possession of a firearm or ammunition by a person prohibited and disorderly conduct.
He was arraigned by Justice of the Peace Court 2, and committed to Sussex Correctional Institution on a $46,100 cash bond.
