Juvenile injured in Jefferson Apartments shooting

A young person was injured Nov. 28 following a shooting at the Jefferson Apartments in Lewes.

Lewes police were notified at 1:08 a.m. that someone had fired numerous shots at an apartment building at 825 Kings Highway, and a juvenile inside the apartment suffered a nonlife-threatening gunshot wound. Police said they believe the shooting was targeted, and members of the public are not at risk.
