Delaware State Police say they are investigating a threatening social media post after staff at Cape Henlopen High School and Sussex Central High School reported it.
Police were first contacted at 2:44 p.m., Oct. 25, about an image of a gun that staff saw on social media. Police said it is an image that has circulated nationwide for several years. At this time, police said there is no intelligence indicating that the threat was credible, but warn that the absence of intelligence does not mean the lack of a threat. Always call 911 to report suspicious activity, police said.
