Lewes police, city agree on new contract

, The City of Lewes and it police officers have agreed to a new three-year contract. The agreement with Fraternal Order of Police Lodge 22 runs from April 1 through March 31, 2028. The city did not disclose terms.  Police have ratified the contract. Both parties have signed it. Rehoboth Beach commissioners approved a $44 million budget for next fiscal year during a meeting March 21.
