Vehicle burns on Cordrey Road

, A vehicle caught on fire along Cordrey Road near Millsboro Feb. 25. The fire was reported at 6:42 p.m. between William Street Road and Carlos Lane, officials said, and when firefighters with the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company arrived, the vehicle was fully involved in flames. Angola-area home damaged by fallen tree

, An Angola-area home was damaged Feb. 24 by a fallen tree. The Indian River Volunteer Fire Company responded at 2:07 p.m. to the home on Canal Drive Extended in the Short Hills development off Banks Road. Firefighters found a tree had fallen onto the home’s roof. Emergency responders completed an external evaluation, secured the utility service and attempted to assist with temporary housing accommodations.

, , , , A tree fell on a home near Angola Feb. 23, damaging the structure.  The Indian River Volunteer Fire Company was called at 6:39 a.m. to a home on Blue Boulevard in the Shawn’s Hide-a-way development. Fire personnel found a tree had fallen on a home with a patient inside, officials said.
