Car shot at near Millsboro

The Delaware State Police are investigating after someone fired shots at a car driving near Millsboro Jan. 25.

Police said the shooting happened about 1:45 a.m. when the driver was headed northbound on DuPont Boulevard near Avenue of Honor. An unknown vehicle passed the driver and fired an unknown number of shots that hit the vehicle, police said.

The car then fled northbound on DuPont Boulevard. The victim was not hurt, police said.
