Mispillion Performance Series will host the Bobby Jasinski Jazz Quintet at 3 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 8, at Avenue United Methodist Church, 20 N. Church St., Milford. The show is free and unticketed, and all are welcome. The quintet will present A History of Jazz, featuring tunes from each decade from the 1920s to the present day. Boos and Brews featured characters of bygone times telling scary stories of murder and mayhem. Food, potent potions, a costume contest and live music by Electric Velvet were enjoyed by all in attendance.
