DJ Premier and Roc Marciano Detail Project, Share New Song “Prayer Hands”

In February, DJ Premier and Roc Marciano released the single “Armani Section” and promised that a collaborative project was forthcoming. The hip-hop heavyweights have now made good on their word by sharing the details of The Coldest Profession. The eight-track project is out August 8 via TTT. In a statement, DJ Premier said, “Roc always makes sure to never go in the direction of the expected types. He brags, without bragging. He shows off, without showing off.” He continued, “If that does not make sense, then you’re not what we want in our league of pure style. That’s the definition of ‘Prayer Hands.’ Explanations are not needed.”
