Don Preston resigns from Board of Commissioners

Don Preston has resigned from the Rehoboth Beach Board of Commissioners effective immediately. Preston joined the Board of Commissioners in September 2023 after running unopposed for the position; his term expires in September 2026.

“While I am disappointed with Commissioner Preston’s resignation from the Board of Commissioners,” says Mayor Stan Mills, “I sincerely appreciate his service to the community.”

The city expects to appoint someone to fill Preston’s unexpired term; the process for that appointment is still being determined.
