Historic Village in Ocean View resets art event for Sept. 30

Due to inclement weather Sept. 23, the Gallery One art event opening at the Historic Village in Ocean View was postponed to 12 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 30, at Hall’s Store, 32 West Ave., Ocean View.

Artists from Gallery One recently created paintings of historic homes, structures and artifacts in and around Ocean View, with some artists creating their masterpieces en plein air (a French expression meaning “in the open air”).

All completed paintings will be available for purchase and featured for the community’s enjoyment.

A reception is set for 5 to 6 p.m., Sept. 30, when the artists will be present to meet attendees and answer questions. Light refreshments will be served.
