Radio Rehoboth
The Rehoboth Beach Farmers’ Market will open for its 19th season Tuesday, May 6, at Grove Park. Market hours are 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The market will feature approximately 40 vendors who will offer fresh local fruit and vegetables, baked goods, coffee, tea, jams, jellies, honey, herbs, plants, dog treats and delicious breakfast and lunch options. Guitarist Bryan Scar will perform to celebrate the market’s opening.
The Rehoboth Beach Farmers’ Market partners with the Community Resource Center to donate fresh local produce and food items to support the less fortunate. Due to the ongoing challenges facing the local food banks and other charitable organizations, the market will have a representative from CRC on site every Tuesday to collect nonperishable food items, fresh produce and meats and other food that can be purchased and donated to help feed the local community.
