Sussex council/commission workshop will be livestreamed

The Sussex County Council and Sussex County Planning & Zoning Commission workshop scheduled for 12:30 p.m., Thursday, Sept. 21, will be livestreamed at sussexcountyde.gov/council-chamber-broadcast.

The workshop will take place at the Sussex County Emergency Operations Center at Delaware Coastal Airport near Georgetown. During council’s Sept. 19 meeting, Administrator Todd Lawson said officials will review and discuss the following development design elements: perimeter buffers, interconnectivity, forest preservation, open space and accessory buildings such as single-wide and double-wide units. If any amendments are agreed upon, Lawson said, the next step following the workshop would be draft ordinances.
