Vehicle burns on Cordrey Road

A vehicle caught on fire along Cordrey Road near Millsboro Feb. 25.

The fire was reported at 6:42 p.m. between William Street Road and Carlos Lane, officials said, and when firefighters with the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company arrived, the vehicle was fully involved in flames.

Officials said it appears the vehicle caught fire while traveling down the roadway. The Delaware State Fire Police coordinated traffic control, and is investigating.
