Bridgeville man charged in Georgetown burglary

A Bridgeville man faces charges in connection with a March burglary in Georgetown. Delaware State Police say Lester Alcantara, 24, went to a home March 1 on Widgeon Road and entered through a bedroom window. Once inside, police said, Alcantara knocked over items and stole money before fleeing. Troopers recovered fingerprints at the scene, and issued a warrant for Alcantara’s arrest on March 29.
