The Rehoboth Beach Film Society, in partnership with CAMP Rehoboth, will present the 2024 Pride Film Festival, spotlighting LGBTQ+ documentaries, features and international films from Friday to Sunday, June 14 to 16, at the Cinema Art Theater.

Headlining this year’s festival is a 25-year retrospective screening of director Jim Fall’s classic film “Trick,” starring Tori Spelling, Christian Campbell, John Paul Pitoc, Brad Beye and Miss Coco Peru. Showtime is 7 p.m., Saturday, June 15, and ticket holders will be able to participate in a post-screening discussion with the director in a look back at the film that follows the romantic misadventures of two young gay men in Manhattan.

“The Cinema Art Theater Pride Film Festival is a wonderful way to celebrate the LGBTQ+ community in the month of June, Pride Month. The purpose of Pride Month is to recognize the impact that lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender plus individuals have had on history locally, nationally and internationally. It’s only fitting to bring the many incredibly talented filmmakers and their work to Southern Delaware during Pride Month celebrations,” said Kim Leisey, CAMP Rehoboth executive director.

“Our 2023 Pride Film Festival enjoyed incredible success! That included several sell-out screenings and securing the East Coast premiere of the Indigo Girls documentary, ‘It’s Only Life After All.’ The 2024 festival planning committee is actively reviewing potential film titles. I’m confident this year’s program will be a sell-out,” said Helen Chamberlin. RBFS executive director.

Festival admission is $12 per film for all audiences and $5 for students (student tickets are available only at the theater box office). Sponsorship opportunities are also available.
